| Already for a long time a number of Ligurian Apple users (see the red part of map below) had the ambition to deliver up itself in Association and to found a 'special' italian A.M.U.G. But the triggering event that it has carried to the realization of this initiative has been the donation of a big amount of Apple historical products from a company who followed, in the last 30 years, the computer evolution in Ligurian market: BRIANO MULTIMEDIA from Savona, Italy. The AMUG is born therefore with a huge patrimony of Apple machines, beyond to an incredible collection of depliants, manuals, printers, peripheral, adhesive, gadget, publicity, and - not negligible - old original packages for Apple II and Macintosh. Our main purpose is, today, to become a reference for the collection of these objects, that will be all repaired (if possible) and catalogued on our website along with photographs, characteristics, technical data, and a classified page linked to the donor Like the other A.M.U.G., we do not forget all the usual A.M.U.G. activities: mailing list, discussion groups, technical assistance to registered users, meetings, courses, and so on. So, if you are an Apple 'fellow', what are you waiting for? |
